Bodies of Water is an Erasmus+ blended intensive program (BIP) exploring the intersections of water, visual arts and design, addressing the current climate crisis with speculative approaches and applied design practices, and deepening our understanding of water as a catalyst for social change.
It is curated by Giulia Colletti, led by ABADIR in partnership with Die Angewandte (Austria) and EASD Castelló (Spain) and it is part of Waterschool South, an educational initiative stemming from Studio Makkink&Bey’s Water School in Rotterdam.

Bodies of Water combines online seminars and in-person activities, such as site visits to key locations in Catania that highlighted the multifaceted relationship between the city and water
Outputs include research papers, prototypes and conceptual installations which will soon be available on a new online platform: Wetscapes.
